PieFacE Posted January 21, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Certainly used to be. Has always looked decent whenever I've seen him play, which I admit isn't that much. I thought he was really good when he was at Birmingham that once, was shocked he didn't play more. Edited January 21, 2013 by PieFacE

Richard
I'd take him at Villa To be fair that doesn't narrow it down much for us as we'd take anyone currently!

Different play style, obviously, but the kind of guy who has outrageous talent but only produces the performances you expect half a dozen times a season. I think Zog more suffers from a lack of confidence, at least that's the impression I get watching him. Whereas Zarate can be a right lazy ****. With the right manager he could be top class still though.

Avfc96
I think Coloccini and Cabaye will leave them before the end of January so therefore strengthing before other teams know they have a big pot of money to spend. Coloccini will go back to Argentina and Cabaye will go Arsenal I think.
Qwpzxjor1
Coloccini set to stay at Newcastle. Southampton agree fee for Coutinho. Not a good day on the transfer side for us.
PompeyVillan
Meh, they can sign Coutinho, I'm still convinced that the chairman completely undermining Adkins with hijack Southampton's season.
Tomaszk
Are Newcastle showing that it's not that hard to sniff out sensible transfers for quality players? Graham Carr, not all that.
kurtsimonw
For all their good transfers they're still just as shit as us. They have the same problem we do, lack of Premier League experience.
KSV
bullshit. they just signed quality internationals. They got experience. Our signings had championship experience.. well below the top leagues of europe

AVFCforever1991
I wouldn't call newcastle as shit as us when looking at their squad. Pretty much every newcastle player would get into our team Ba a few.
