Qwpzxjor1
There are rumours on Spurs fan sites that they've taken Benzema on loan. Hate to say it, but if that's true Spurs could genuinely form a title challenge this year. They won't win it - but they could certainly challenge. With Bale and van der Vaart feeding Benzema they will be very dangerous.
KAZZAM
But Benzema plays alot for Real so i just dont see any truth in it much like our very own link.
Stevo985 Posted December 31, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted December 31, 2010 Plus Mourinho is desperate for a striker, which by all accounts he isn't going to get. So can't see him shipping out one of his existing strikers instead.
myb
Borussia Mönchengladbach have brought in Mike Hanke (Hannover 96) Always worth saying this, but he is the subject of one of my favourite football facts - he's allergic to grass. So he has hayfever :winkold:
Zatman
Only way Benzema will go is if Mourinho gets Llorente
AVFC_Hitz
3 new signings for Besiktas: Manual Fernandes (loan) from Valencia. Simao from Atletico Madrid Hugo Almeida from Werder Bremen. The last one is suprising as he's gone for €2 Million. I mean, a 26 year old AM also a very very good player and he goes for €2 Million! He must be on a fair weekly wage. CitizenBlue
Man City have agreed a £27m fee with Wolfsburg for Dzeko. Cracker1234
Some players will have to leave if Citeh is buying again.....I can't see them going for many players though...Will that be the only one?
PompeyVillan
Good signing for Citeh. Does that mean they have to knock someone out of the squad to incorporate him?
Zatman
prob be Santa Cruz or Adebayor
CitizenBlue
prob be Santa Cruz or Adebayor Both, in all likelihood. That would give us Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli, and Jo. Balotelli we can use as a left forward. If/when Tevez leaves, we've got cover, at least I'm sure that is the thinking behind this move.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Dzeko is a good buy, will do well in this league. Would've been better suited to Spurs though, with the way they play, I reckon you lot will buy a right footed winger at some point to balance with Adamn Johnson. Which would basically give you two different teams to play. One with posession football and more going on in and around the box with Tevez up front, or a counter-attacking game with wingers with Dzeko up front. Bastards. Zatman
I dont watch CIty that much but what does Jo actually bring to the team. He must be among the biggest flops in Premier League history.
Qwpzxjor1
Jo was a really odd signing. 18m or so wasn't he? Playing in the Russian league?
CitizenBlue
Jo is a quality reserve. Looks absolutely unfit but manages to score the occasional goal, and can play on the left and not slow the passing down. I don't know what it is about Brazilians, but it seems even the worst have a better sense of quick passing than most English players. :?
