I'd absolutely given up on this game, just turned it on now

*Sorry in advance for the inevitable

Cheers for getting Stokes out pal.  Lovely stuff.

Speaking of verbals...

"A statement has come through from the Australia team: "Australian management has requested the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) investigate several incidents involving spectators in the members area during lunch on day five of the Lord's Test. It is alleged players and staff from the Australian team were verbally abused, with some being physically contacted, as they made their way to lunch through the members area."

Sounds like ungentlemanly conduct. Not surprised they are upset.

Unbelievably poor shot. Idiot.

Not really - Australia have set their field back, lower orders' best chance is hitting loose balls for runs.  They'll be facing bouncer after bouncer.  You can't just sit through it getting dot balls.

Not sure why Robinson was going the slog when he was better suited to trying support Broad....

70 runs needed, Broad probably has the best test average and it won't be 20.  It isn't the time for the supporting role, we need runs.

Yes, Broad has surely shown the support batsmen how to play this?

Oh well we got closer than I ever thought we would. Need a bit of a shake up for the next test.

Was about to say that. It's a miracle we've got this close.

Should get himself in first. Mental to try and hook that.

Disagree, just needed to chip away at the total. Giving your wicket away after being in for 5 minutes is never a good idea.

You don't really get in at this point.  If there's a chance of slamming something, go for it.
