PaulC
Yes its defendable but Essex have a strong batting line-up.
dAVe80
Looking like Durham are going to knock Yorkshire out too. Ballance just got out.
Milfner
Yorkshire pissed that one up the wall big time. Nice early breakthrough, 12-1 from 4. Hannon-Dalby been really good so far. EDIT: 2 down! Clarke gets Westley lbw! Edited August 28, 2014 by Milfner
Milfner
58-4! Bopara's just gone and he looked in great touch. Get through Ryder and Foster quickly here and that should be that.

dAVe80
Quite fancy away to Durham on the Saturday. We can go on the piss after in Newcastle, and you can all stop at my house!

Avfc96
England have been pathetic yet again in the 3rd ODI. Expect India to knock the runs off comfortably.
veloman
Although a big fan of Ian Bell, he does seem a bit out of form. I take it he will not be available for next Thursday but, even if he was available, I wonder if he would get in the team.

Anyways, Ben Stokes' last 12 international innings are as follows: 0, 5, 5, 4, 0, 4, 0, 0, 0, 0, 23, 2. He's just taken a wicket mind, but that average of 3.58 is quite something. veloman
Yep, possible isn't it. So would you keep McKay or bring back Ambrose if fit ?
Milfner
Think we're a bit light batting without Ambrose to be honest. McKay's knock against Essex was very handy but coming at 9(!) is a massive disadvantage from having Tim come in at 4 or 5.

Stokes should be dropped, his batting is appalling and his bowling isn't that much better.
veloman
^^^ yep agreed. With my usual lack of bias, what about Rickie Clarke !! Did you know he has his own fan club; organised by a Villa fan ?
