Avfc96
It's a shame that it looks like there will be no cricket tomorrow. Would have been fun to see England try and win it especially with KP and Bell in good nick. Edited August 4, 2013 by Avfc96
West
Even with a full day's play england would not attempt this run chase. Its not their way of doing things.
Avfc96
It would only be 3.6 or something per over, not exactly 5 or 6 an over.
PaulC
If there was a full days play tomorrow I think England would bat cautiously until tea and see where they are then and if they are in a position to win they would go for it

WhatAboutTheFinish
Don't panic guys...the situation is set up perfectly so we look forward to KP scoring 20 odd runs before he throws his wicket away playing some ridiculously extravagant shot Edited August 5, 2013 by WhatAboutTheFinish
mockingbird_franklin
conditions appear to be favoring the bowling side as feared, need a couple of decent partnerships, or lots of rain

Cliffy Biro
We've been at around 30-3 in this series a few times now which is worrying but not on a day as big as this, ridiculous stuff. Aussies batting in the first few tests papered over our own cracks it seems.
ozvillafan Posted August 5, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted August 5, 2013 Like Khawaja in the first innings - KP did NOT touch that.
Ponky
I beg to differ. Tiniest of snicks IMO. Snicko was pretty damning.
AVFC_Hitz
Like Khawaja in the first innings - KP did NOT touch that. KP hit it. Snicko caught it and there was a noise in real time. Bat nowhere near anything else (Pad or pitch).
OutByEaster? Posted August 5, 2013 Moderator Share Posted August 5, 2013 KP is out. That's the thing. Root and Bell - time for a bit of grit.

stewiek2
I've been saying it since the New Zealand tour over xmas/new year that the top order is woefully out of sorts. If/when we win/retain the ashes, we will have done so with our top order being inconsistent and, in some cases, shit. Whatever the outcome of this ashes series it will have been won/lost with Englands top order batting being very out or sorts. The winter ashes tour will be more dominant should we sort our batting out.
