CVByrne
I'm having a problem with my Galaxy Nexus and updated to 4.1.2 everytime the OTA update is pushed to me and I do the install it goes to the Android pic and an ! mark meaning some problem. I've tried it a few times and no luck. Will I need to do a factory reset of the phone or just flash the firmware with Odin? I'll probably wait till 4.2 is out next week to update. StanBalaban
Quick question again... I'm about to buy a Nexus 7 for the other half for her birthday. I've had an iPad 2 for a few years now, is it worth getting a Nexus for myself too?
jim
Do you need one or just want?
StanBalaban
Do you need one or just want? Probably want if honest. Just wondering if the experience is going to be much ahead of the iPad.
mykeyb
So CPW have the Nexus 4 at £389. It was going on sale Tuesday but since Google cancelled the presser because of the hurricane I wonder if they will still be allowed to.
The_Rev
Just tried Atooma, its all GPS based isn't it? The thing I like about Llama is it uses cell towers for location so its much easier on the battery.
CVByrne
Atooma is still being developed Rev. It's only in beta but it is most promising.
The_Lions_Roar
Right this led light, I've unticked the box that says about notifications, messages etc but it's still coming on. Anyone know why?
The_Rev
Dunno. But blu tac over the led might be the best fix for now.
CVByrne
Is it set to led on when charging? That's another setting.
The_Lions_Roar
Yes, I surely that wouldn't make it light for a message etc? Think I might just make the missus sleep on the sofa!
Eames
Without wishing to overly complicate matters here ---- I'm sure you're having fun customising settings and all I have a radical solution to the whole problem. Turn the phone face down?
CVByrne
Holy Jesus, the Nexus 4 is $299, it's a total game changer. How on earth did they do that? It'll be like £250 over here. I'm of course gonna buy one at that stupidly cheap price. This is a stunning achievement. There is only one phone you should buy and it's this. Tegis Posted October 29, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted October 29, 2012 And the 16 gig one for 350. That is cheap as ****
CVByrne
Prices up £239 for 8gb and £279 for 16gb. This is a the total and utter game changer. Stunning. I've already registered for notification on play store.
CVByrne
Next Nexus 7 prices. 16gb is £159, 32gb is £199, 32gb with 3G is £239 Nexus 10 with bonkers high resolution screen. £319 for 16gb, £389 for 32gb.
Chindie Posted October 29, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted October 29, 2012 Nexus 10 is a pug ugly beast, but fairly impressive spec wise. Interesting theres no portrait pictures of it in use, I suspect it might look a bit daft. The pricing on Nexus 4 is a real cat amongst the pigeons move. Ingram85
What's the screen size on the LGNex? Same as the Galaxy Nexus? Are the touch icons separate from the screen or take away from it? Looks tempting.

Turn the phone face down? This is what I've been doing, just worried it'll go off at night and I'll scratch the screen somehow. Probably never going to happen I know. CVByrne
Screen is 0.05 inches bigger than galaxy Nexus ar 4.7 inches. Touch icons will be part of the bottom of the screen as it's part of googles os to do this. Phone buying has become a no brainer. This is the best phone at a price too good not to buy.
