Pilchard
Just announced kits won't be available until November. Was going to get the home for my holiday on saturday - couldn't decide on that or some trainers I've spotted. I guess that's made my mind up for me! Best thing is, they have not put a specific date for November, so i guess it could be December, or even August 2027

limvillian
I think Nike should be given the heave-ho after this, I know they make good quality shirts but they obviosly don't see Aston Villa as any sort of a priority.
villan1874
I am an avid Aston villa fan, who has had a season ticket every season since i was 6, I am now 26. I have a bought (or had had bought for me) every shirt since I was about 5. I feel let down by Aston villa a Nike this season by the delay of this seasons kit. I have had mine preordered since i was able too and I was disgusted by the fact it was not going to be available until September 16th. now have just read a club statement saying... " Joint statement from Aston Villa and Nike: Aston Villa and Nike regret that the home and away shirt for season 2010-11 on-sale dates have been delayed due to quality issues identified by Nike in a small percentage of the shirts that had already been manufactured. Nike has been a committed partner of Aston Villa since 2007 and has invested heavily in the club during this time, and the high quality of the products and satisfaction of the fans is of the utmost importance. Therefore a decision was made jointly by Aston Villa and Nike to set new on-sale dates for November 2010 for the home and away shirts. We appreciate the inconvenience caused by these delays, which were outside of the club's control, and apologise sincerely to all Aston Villa fans." I'm sorry but no home shirt until mid-november, thats half the season.. then I bet we have another new shirt Next season. which means people are having to by a shirt for 7months of a whole season, dispicable behaviour. I my opinion all this should have been sorted before the end of last season.. Chelsea and Liverpool have had the new home shirts available too own since before the end of last season. rant over. The_Lions_Roar
What an absolute joe, wasn't going to get it after finding out it wasn;t being released until september, november is an absolute joke, they should sell them at half price, never mind free shirt printing, don;t they realise that not everyone wants shirt printing! Get rid of nike, get a new sponsor in!

Gabby87thminhero
Disgraceful, I think the kits should have at the very least 10 pound off them now when they eventually come out :x

villan1874
I've just worked out the roughly 45% of our home games will have been played by the time we finally get our home shirt! so I think it should have 45% off the price, due to the this almighty cock up by nike. if the general reads this please pass our displeasure onto randy so he can have a word with Nike, because it's just got good enough.
