sidcow Posted February 13, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted February 13, 2023 What I can't understand about this story is that they needed rescuing. I'd be yelling at them to leave me alone whilst doing backstroke across a sea of chocolate spitting it into the air like a fountain.

sidcow Posted February 13, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted February 13, 2023 (edited) When they finally got out they had to have a quick twirl to shake off the excess chocolate. Apparently they only fell in because they had been smoking a joint and got the munchies. Edited February 13, 2023 by sidcow

Lichfield Dean Posted February 13, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted February 13, 2023 This is eggstremely distressing https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-shropshire-64627829 Police hunt 200,000 Creme Eggs stolen in Telford The theft of 200,000 Cadbury's Creme Eggs from an industrial estate nearly threw Easter into doubt, according to police. The West Mercia force said they had been hunting individuals "presumably purporting to be the Easter bunny". The spring-time, choc treats vanished - along with their gooey fondant centres - from a unit in Telford on Saturday. But the eggs were found when police stopped a vehicle on the M42 motorway, the force said. It added officers had "saved Easter for Creme Egg fans" in the recovery of confectionery valued at about £40,000. Police said other chocolate varieties were taken from the site in Stafford Park but the force appeared to flake on those details. A 32-year-old man of no fixed abode has been charged with criminal damage and two counts of theft.

Genie
At current prices 200,000 Cream Eggs are worth about £150,000 not the £40,000 mentioned in the article.

Wholesale price innit. Like having 200,000 ecstasy tablets. You'd never shift them at nightclub prices. You need to sell in bulk to a creme egg dealer.
bickster Posted February 13, 2023 Moderator Share Posted February 13, 2023 Fear not the crème eggs were found. The police cracked the case really quickly. Units were scrambled and fortunately they didn’t have to bring in the soldiers. It boiled down to good deteggtive work and a local man was arrested
