Liono
I know big John got 3 last week, but we really missed Gabby, I hope this doesn't back fire for MON.
Mantis
Why play Heskey? Why? In reality I should've seen this coming. MON couldn't really not play Carew because of his performance last week and he's never gonna leave Heskey on the bench.
Guest Ricardomeister
Gabby cannot be 100% otherwise MON has lot the plot
Liono
I was expecting Carew to be dropped, it wouldn't have surprised me with MON.

OutByEaster? Posted March 13, 2010 Moderator Share Posted March 13, 2010 That line up gives us plenty of ability to fight fire with fire, hopefully it won't take 45 minutes for Carew and Heskey to get warmed up. I'm feeling a bit more confident about this game than I have before, not sure why.
Davies4England
Gabby isn't 100% as MON never ever drops him. Some people need to think before they speak.
Mantis
But I heard Gabby had gotten over his virus.
kieranavfc
AFAIK O'Neill has started Gabby every time he's been fit; so I reckon he's not 100%. At the least he'll be a good option from the bench late on..
packoman
Just put 2 euro on Carew to get 2 or more goals return of 20. I'm actually quite confident of a win, just think we have too much quality, and no shawcross to stop Big John.
Mantis
I can see us getting at least one penalty in this game.
lp_villa830
Gabby must not be 100% then. Would of preferred one of the Delf to start but can maybe understand why his gone with the two big men.
rjshare
we have the players that allow us to try and win games in different ways. sit deep and play fast breaks is one option, but today i think maybe mon has gone for the **** big sledgehammer to crack a walnut option. he knows it will be physical and stoke are going to sit deep and play for set pieces so i guess he thinks rather than waste gabbys speed when he has no chance of getting behind them - especially if he isnt fully right yet, he is better to use the big lads and try to out-batter them. cant see it making wengers top ten "god gave us grass to play football on" matches of the year somehow!
