mjmooney Posted March 5, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted March 5, 2012 power cuts wouldnt bother me to be honest, acoustic guitar, bottle of wine and a good book and I would be fine nice little excuse to chill out and do nothingThat's exactly how I saw it at first. But once the wine had gone and the missus couldn't stand to hear my rendition of "Daydream Believer" again without killing me, and it was too dark to read, it began seriously to pall. I would have just gone to bed, but I had to keep dealing with the sparkies outside. For six hours.

Fully agree that its by no means the best steak you will ever it, but it was very nice and the price was reasonable. The layout was great and the atmosphere was really nice. I liked the fact you were not bunched in there too tight. Ive been to a couple of really nice restaurants where the food has has been bang tidy, but your sat that close to the table next to you, you can hear their entire conversation....really hate that! Service was great also. As ive said, not the best piece of steak in the world, but value for money it was very good. Will definately be going again. Crazy crazy ... oh, and everybody knows Friday is Chinese night Oh i agree with the chicken & burgers for breakfast is crazy, but also the thought of cooking on a Friday or Saturday night is just wrong. Just for the record, Saturday is actually Curry night for us. Friday tends to be Pizza or, yes Neil, Chinese night.
Stevo985 Posted March 6, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted March 6, 2012 Speaking of Pizza, I had a "Meateor" from Dominoes last week. Now I usually don't back people like Dominoes and Pizza Hut, I think the smaller pizza places are often much nicer, but I was pissed and Dominoes was right there. But this Meateor pizza was incredible, one of the nicest i've ever had (although the booze may have influenced my opinion)

It was so hot that I had to take the next day off because of stomache cramps and rectal bleeding! That shit was **** up!
