Why is that some missing people become headline national news for weeks and months on end, but other people go missing and it just gets a few shares on facebook? Often depends on things like: ethnicity; socioeconomic status; whether children are involved; general level of sordidness

He's probably buried somewhere completely different or dumped in the sea in a weighted bag. They know they're wasting their time.
Genie Posted Monday at 14:21 Share Posted Monday at 14:21 2 weeks is a reasonable amount of time to look for him full time with a huge team. They should be digging into the circumstances around why he was where he was, but I don’t hold out much hope.

Surely extra bodies and extra intelligence at the start of the search would have helped though? Your last paragraph is probably the likely scenario and its probably drugs related if that was the case
Nor-Cal Villan Posted Monday at 21:37 Share Posted Monday at 21:37 (edited) Came home yesterday from 4 great days in San Francisco. Had a blast- saw a Giants game, saw 2 nights of one of my favorite bands, Drive by Truckers, at one of my favorite venues, The Fillmore, saw a bunch of old friends, ate/drank well, spent a lot of $ at Amoeba Records, went to a world class museum, generally enjoyed being out of the insane heat here in Chico…and came home with COVID we were set to fly to Rhode Island very early Wednesday morning but have had to reschedule Edited Monday at 23:54 by Nor-Cal Villan

I took a mate up the hospital the other day and it's all masks again in there, I can only assume the rates have gone through the roof again? Get well soon brother

From what I hear rates are spiking all over Northern California and imagine it’s happening a lot of places. After generally not seeing many masks here in Chico for some time it was noteworthy how many were wearing them in San Francisco. By no means a majority or anything, but still enough people that it stood out
Seat68
I have been in a couple of hospitals this week, both requested masks to be worn.
