As her review into Shrewsbury and Telford ends, Nottingham University Hospitals is next on her hit list, another trust that has maternity services considered "inadequate" for years in a row, with no improvements, and a list of tragic and avoidable life-impacting injuries and deaths. For obvious reasons I've not been able to post too much about the shitshow we encountered in their care, but we're going to be as involved as possible helping to ensure people are accountable for the systemic negligence, neglect and culture of arse-covering in that unit. We've only had this weighing on us for a few months, other families have been waiting years and years for a proper investigation. Not convinced… it’s just a bit annoying KV I just got the cheapest smart watch I could find (after hating them and certainly refusing to spend hundreds of $$ on an apple watch.) It vibrates slightly for notifications and after glancing at it you can just continue with what you are doing. I find it far less tempting to engage with anything compared to when you have your phone in your hand. Less than $40 and it tracks all the health stuff and most importantly it has stopped me unlocking my phone about 90%. On my floor at school the kids had locked all the windows and pushed the lock in. They also managed to pack away the key in some tiny box which is somewhere in the 30 cardboard boxes stacked around the room. I just arrived at work with the handyman and boss stroking their chins looking at the windows and contemplating calling a locksmith. I assume the people that say that are just wrong. I have masses of self confidence That said.... My feet are the worst feet you will see. My heels are an absolute casserole, extremely hard, and cracked. I have tried just about everything and the only thing that got close was a sander, not really practical. My guess is that some of you must have suffered and dealt with this in the past. Anyone combatted ridiculously hard skin and bad feet? I will try just about anything at this point.
