agree it would be nice to decorate a house* with top of the range stuff, actual timber flooring rather than saving for 6 months for some timber effect vinyl....id probably keep the house i live in now too as a home town base, just get it completely refurbed

*not done by me obviously

I've already got plans to buy next door when the lovely 92 year old lady next to me passes away.

I've only been in the house 3 months, and have lovely aspects front and rear, decent enough road.  But the extra space of another traditional 3 bed semi, designed specifically for me, with the extra garden, extra drive etc would be really good fun :)

I'd just rent places in places I love (like mini hubs) like NYC for example and just go to and fro (is that right?) on my own volition.

I'm not bothered about money per-SE, I just want the choice to be able to do what I want, when I want.  That's the dream I suppose :)

I might build a casino, just be be cool too B)

Yeah as much as I'd be happy with a million that's not going to happen...

id seriously consider rounding it down though, I'd take £100m and then give the rest away, I'd change the lives of a lot of people around me and then still have a lot left to give to charity etc

first thing though, I'd disappear for a month, try and get my head round it all and come up with some sort of a plan, stay away from people, £151m is an insane amount of money, think it would be very easy to fall out with family over, know at least a couple in my family that would expect verging on demanding to be given a good chunk of it

Yep, it would be massively hard to reconcile with yourself that you were amazingly rich. Like you, I'd need to get away for a while and have a good old think about how I was going to manage my new wealth

£151m would still generate over £1k per day of interest even at todays shitting rates and accounting for 40% tax on it

That moment in Costa when the girl serving you says she knows you and you have absolutely no idea who she is , was racking my brain about various black holes in my memory caused by excessive alcohol and wondering if she worked previously  as a stripper , hooker or police woman when she   says you know my dad

phew ... and relax
