Not sure why McConaughey would have been in the word removed category (annoying maybe - especially with the compulsory naked torso shit).

I may have been exaggerating for effect.

Basically I didn't used to like him. Now I do. A lot.

He made some very decent movies early on in his career (Dazed and Confused, Time to Kill and especially the criminally overlooked Frailty) but then he just started leaning a lot on the covers of second rate rom-coms and all seemed lost.

Since the Lincoln Lawyer though, he's been on a ridiculous purple patch and long may it continue.

Exactly.

I had him down as a rom com specialist. Nothing actor, just good looking basically.

Then, as you say, Lincoln Lawyer came along and he hasn't looked back.

I didn't used to have a 'personal scale of word removed to hero', until I found out about the people who had personal scales of word removed to hero, now my own personal scale of word removed to hero is made up exclusively of people who have a personal scale of word removed to hero.

Got a long, long way to go to get to hero Stevo. Long way :detect:

I loved his little homage to Dazed & Confused in his recent Oscar acceptance speech, but whoever mentioned the fact that he seems very religious and it put you off him a bit... I know what you mean. I like to try and be accepting of most beliefs, but I think it's the fact that I like the character of Rust so damn much and we both share similar views (though mine are nowhere near so nihilist-extreme) that I wanted a lot of that character to actually be McConaughey himself. Ah well, still a top actor.

Any one have any experience of studying with ebooks? Told my boss I needed 2 books for study and he rang up the local retailer to get my a quote of what I'd roughly need to pay for them and they were €75 each. So he's given me a cheque for €150, I've since found I can get them off the publisher for £91 total (paper back) which would give me €40 profit, or I can get them as ebooks for £54.60 which would give me €85 profit. Only worry is that you can only print 15% of the book, which I'm not overly bothered about but also wonder are ebooks a bit tough on the eyes etc.
