Another day and another serving police officer outed as a rapist scumbag.

I have to be honest, my own experiences and impressions of the police on the whole is that as an organisation it’s terribly appealing to really bad people.

Its a big organisation, there is always the possibility you will have wrong 'uns infiltrating it.

Look at the medical profession - Harold Shipman, Beverley Allitt and the nurse on trial now for 7 baby murders (and 10 attempted), Lucy Letby. Plus there are others. Some people are just scum :(

I thought we’d already concluded that some people see some colours differently?

I am colour blind, found out when I was ten, could not see the number in even the first picture they use to gauge colour blindness.

After this discovery I was made to stand outside the schools Nurses room in my underpants for 15 minutes and then when called in had to drop my pants and was asked to 'cough' by a some bloke who said he was 'specialist'

The more I have though about this over the years the more I have started to question certain aspects of the procedure followed

Went into the office today. Genuinely think its the first Monday in the office I have done in years... at least three Prime Ministers ago!

It wasn't as bad as I feared. Trains were quieter, office was empty and the try-hards weren't there as the senior management rarely go in on a Monday.

7/10.

Would work again.

It’s rare these days that you get decent customer service but over the past week I have to say I’ve had a superb experience with Dyson.

When we moved into our new home around 4.5 years ago we ‘treated ourselves’ to a new Dyson cleaner, it wasn’t top of the range, from memory was around £300 I think. Anyway, it was good and did the job but had been playing up a bit over the past few months. It stopped working properly around Christmas.

I went through all the self diagnostic steps on the website and no joy, so I called Dyson on Tuesday last week, the chap on the line went through some basic steps with me (which I’d already done) but after a few minutes said it would need to be picked up for repair - Dyson offer (or did at the time) a 5 year manufacturer warranty, we have about 6 months left on it.

It was collected on the Friday, on Sunday I received an email letting me know it was being looked at. On Monday (yesterday) I had a further email letting me know it’s beyond repair and as they don’t make that model any longer I could select any product from their catalogue.

We went for the best one (obvs), should have been around £650, it arrived this morning.

That’s some pretty good service (irrespective of it being Dyson who I know are not loved here, generally speaking).

You paid the price for 3 vacuum cleaners in the first place so providing 2 shouldn't be any skin off their nose.😄

I've seen the price of the new Dysons around £650+, ridiculous. If I was paying that much for a vacuum, it would be for 1 of the maids in my 20 bedroom mansion.

Weird AI people. (And don't say it, right, just don't? Yes, that. Can't we just have a little maturity around here for once?)

AT first glance this picture looks like it could be snapped on any night out as three young women smile as they enjoy themselves.

But the longer you look at the image it will begin to look uncanny and maybe even make you uncomfortable.
