Is it in European vacation when Clark walks down the hallway to the bathroom to brush his teeth as a homage to psyhco (which would never happen in the States? Hmmm. Mark Albrighton Posted May 23, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted May 23, 2022 It’s the European vacation one. Spoilers for the National Lampoon’s European Vacation. Spoiler Clark was videotaping Ellen in the shower earlier on in the film (with her knowledge, although her consent was not as initially forthcoming). Later in the film, while in France, they ask some passerby to video the whole Griswold family by some fountain. The passerby obliges but suggests they take their shoes off and stand in the fountain. They agree. Of course, him being a foreigner means he’s a scoundrel so he runs off with the video camera. Ellen asks Clark if he erased the film he made of her in the shower. He reassures her that he has, clearly hoping that his lie won’t come back to bite him on the arse. Clark’s lie comes back to bite him on the arse later in the film when, in another European country, Ellen sees that a still of her in the shower is now being used to advertise pornography. Ellen informs Clark of her annoyance. Shortly after, Ellen encounters a man who, for reasons I forget, kidnaps her. Clark then follows in pursuit and happily is able to save both his wife and we hope, his marriage.

Lichfield Dean Posted May 27, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted May 27, 2022 There is a new video made by the council about Sutton Park. It always baffles me that so few people seem to know about it. Anywhere else in the country and I'm sure it'd be a well known tourist spot.

I never realised how great Sutton Park was until I moved here. I'm lucky that I can walk to the Hartopp gate in 10 minutes from my house. More than once I've been on a walk of no more than 2 hours round trip from my front door and seen deer, cows, rabbits, wild ponies, weasels and all sorts of fish, ducks and swans. All in the middle of a Birmingham suburb. It's **** brilliant Edited May 27, 2022 by Stevo985

It's an amazing place really, especially when you get to see the wild ponies.

Yep my walk would be into the Hartopp gate, through the little mud tracks up to Bracebridge, circuit of that then down the other side by the golf course to the visitor centre and back up past Blackroot home. Couple of hours door to door and see all sorts of wildlife and nature. It's fantastic

I also love the area of almost scrubland out towards the Parson and Clark, where you can walk on an untouched Roman road.
