Milfner
My mate has done the same, they even arranged what halls they were staying in. Ridiculous, my girlfriend is in Leeds now, but if I lived with her I know all we'd do would be arguing.

Chindie Posted September 27, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted September 27, 2010 I lived with a mate and his girlfriend last year. Wasn't too bad. They'd met before uni. Of the people who went off round the country leaving partners elsewhere, especially if they'd both gone to uni, none of them lasted that I knew. AVFC-Prideofbrum
Someone I know had 41 statuses in 2 days on facebook. Delete. Deleted most people, left with about 90 friends. Homepage seems so bare.

bickster Posted September 27, 2010 Moderator Share Posted September 27, 2010 Went to Uni with my gf from school, same Uni for both of us (more by accident than design), it actually lasted Uni but didn't last her returning to Brum and me staying in Liverpool
Stevo985 Posted September 27, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted September 27, 2010 Went to the same Uni as my gf from school (actually didn't go because of each other, it offered good courses for both of us and quite a few people from our school went there. We didnt go to the same halls). Anyway, the relationship lasted less than 1 semester and we'd been together for 2 years. But breaking up with her was a great decision! Just took me until Uni to realise it
AVFC_Hitz
Carbon copy of my situation 2 years through school - gap year - 3 years of uni. We got home and split up. re: Bicks post.
emma_villan1
Me and my boyfriend went to the same uni (not as a couple but we went to school together) got together at uni, lived together through uni and are still together now after finishing uni. We hardly ever argued and I loved having a boyfriend at uni!

AVFC-Prideofbrum
Anyone got any tips on what to write on a Uni personal statement? So far I've got: Hi I'm Joe Lolley, son of Martyn, Grandson of Kathorsis, Lord of middle earth. Wanted to impress them with my family stature. Chindie Posted September 27, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted September 27, 2010 Could put something like Hi I'm Joe Lolley, I'll happily cheat and undermine the system for my own gain maybe?
AVFC-Prideofbrum
I like it. I think people do too. I could cut a modern day cool figure, play by my own rules. That's what Uni's are looking for these days. Thanks buddy.
