Gabby15
Was bored so I decided to do that test, I think saying that I occasionally consider how I'd kill myself pushed my score up Tbf, I didn't say I WAS going to, just that I'd thought about how from time to time. I'd make it look like murder for the lulz
Milfner
Both, I suppose (more Chindie). It really helps having someone with you, it helped me so much. To me, it sounds to me that Chindie just has a lack of self-esteem, and having a girlfriend really boosts it.

I'd make it look like murder for the lulz I always wonder if I could physically drown myself. Don't think it's possible though. My main process of random thinking is the escape plan I have devised in getting out if a mass murderer/burglars come into the house. It's pretty simple but effective. CarewsEyebrowDesigner
I usually like to think how I would manage to survive a 'The Road' style apocolypse. Or sometimes I mix it up and think of how I maybe become supreme leader of the world.
Chindie Posted May 7, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted May 7, 2010 Both, I suppose (more Chindie). It really helps having someone with you, it helped me so much. To me, it sounds to me that Chindie just has a lack of self-esteem, and having a girlfriend really boosts it. It ain't for lack of trying. I've not found a blind girl with the patience yet to put up with me. . As for POBs drowning yourself, I don't think you'd be able to consciously do it. You'd be able to do it by taking things outside of your control. For instance (Iain Banks spoilers ahoy) one of the characters drowns herself in a loch by weighing her coat down. Consciously doing it with nothing to aid you beyond your own will, nah, don't think so.

leviramsey Posted May 8, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted May 8, 2010 So think about the possibility of moving abroad and what job opportunities there are. Either that or become a raging alcoholic. Is that pair the standard Irish advice?
PompeyVillan
I usually like to think how I would manage to survive a 'The Road' style apocolypse. Or sometimes I mix it up and think of how I maybe become supreme leader of the world. After I'd finished an exam at school I used to imagine what I would do if a zombie apocalypse hit at the very moment I was in the exam. I could easily spend an hour planning how I'd prepare my fortress, food supplies and weapons. I would plan who I thought would survive and who I could ally with for a better chance of survival myself. Ahh the fun. I've not really though of the supreme leader of the world scenario. Seems a little mundane.

YLN
How many ten commandments have I broken today? Don't worship other gods: I didn't worship any, so I'm going to count that as one. Do not make any idols: I think it's safe to say being on this website talking about how much we all love Milner is idolisation enough. Do not misuse name of God: I haven't referred to Paul McGrath as God today, until right there 3/3 Keep the sabbath holy: Did not attend mass. Honour your father and mother: Haven't gotten around to this one yet. I won't count it. Do not murder: Nope. Do not commit adultery: Not involved in any sort of relationship, so that's out of the question. Do not steal: I've been torrenting since I got up. Do not lie: I haven't been torrenting since I got up Do not covet: I have been engaging in some light browsal of pornographic material. Just to get the circulation going in the morning. 7 out of the 10 in an hour and a half. Now I'm not sure, but I'd say the devil is winning. Deadly sins: Vanity: I have looked in the mirror a couple of times since I got up. Envy: Not really so far today. Gluttony: No breakfast was fairly in moderation. Lust: Again with the porn, so yes. Anger: Wait until the match starts. Greed: Didn't have any opportunity Sloth: Got up at 1pm. 3/7. I did better there, but it's early yet. This internet thing really is the devil's tool. Don't worship other gods: I didn't worship any, so I'm going to count that as one. - Not worshipping any doesn't count as worshipping others. Do not make any idols: I think it's safe to say being on this website talking about how much we all love Milner is idolisation enough. -wrong again I'm afraid. This is about false idols, like worshipping statues. Milner is real life Do not misuse name of God: I haven't referred to Paul McGrath as God today, until right there 3/3 Keep the sabbath holy: Did not attend mass. Still agood effort though!

mjmooney Posted May 10, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted May 10, 2010 I finally noticed (turns out I'd already seen) the John Lewis advert. Can't see what all the fuss is about, it's like loads of others that have done the same thing better (e.g. the Hovis one with the kid moving through time).
