NurembergVillan Posted September 13, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 13, 2013 Any Dutchmen on here? How do you pronounce "Van Den Nieuwenhuijzen"? Van Den New-en-how-sen Sorry to be a pedant, but shouldn't it be? Van Den New-en-high-zen That's the problem with VT. One question brings different answers And it literally translates as "from the new houses". Must've had posh ancestors when surnames were being handed out. CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Car porn. I just don't get it. I find it is much like looking at curtains: I'm sure I'm meant to see how well they could tie a room together, or how they match pillows, or just how nice they are, but really all I see is how functional they are. villaajax
Why all the flash and glitz? Cars like this one are good enough for me: ... Anyway ... I am quite tempted to buy a Mustang, maybe in a year or two. The best quote I had for insurance was just over £1000 (worst being just over £10,000!). CarewsEyebrowDesigner
You should, he has a dig at Boris Johnson! Boris Johnson – a man perpetually in pajamas regardless of what he's wearing – bounds to the stage to accept the award for "best politician". Yes, we agree, this is definitely a joke. Boris, it seems, is taking it in this spirit, joshing beneath his ever-redeeming barnet that Labour's opposition to military action in Syria is a fey stance that he, as GQ politician of the year, would never be guilty of. Matt is momentarily focused. "He's making light of gassed Syrian children," he says. We watch, slightly aghast, then return to goading Noel. villaajax
Boris Johnson is just an absolute disgrace. This is the problem with people voting for bumbling oafish television characters who they find 'amusing'. It was only a week or two ago that he said "Even Hitler didn't use chemical weapons" as some way to justify going to war with Syria.
