mjmooney Posted September 17, 2009 VT Supporter Share Posted September 17, 2009 1) A lot of people would not have been members of this site when that topic/poll was discussed. If its worthy of debate, then let the new members also debate it. 2) Rather than start a new thread about the same topic, might as well continue the old thread.Exactomundo. People are always getting snooty comments for starting up new threads when they had no idea that there was an existing thread on a given subject. And now we get complaints about posting in old threads! Damned if you do....

Jon
Once I get over the confusion that's what does it for me. You start reading a thread (often quite long) only to find that it's 3 years old or something. I can safely say i've never resurrected a "dead" thread. Can't see what's to be gained from it, personally. however, seeing as there is no age limit on threads, i guess members are free to do what they like ....
