Ads
JPA was shite when he was in his prime for us. The hour hand on a clock moved quicker than he did.
spamm
Service was shite when he palyed for us, yet he managed to score. Now it's great and he has the gift and confidence. Backup player, yes.
Milfner
Thers only Juan Pablo Angel! The song never made sense. Surely "one juan". I know it'd be awkward. But still.

deaceydeaceyaggro
I think this thread proves how starved of success the Villa have been in recent years. If the younger element of our fan base highly rates a player so average as JPA was for the Villa then I really do pity them.
holtender1987
if he was free and replacement for he hare then hell yes! Just beacuse he loves the club and would do a good job in those games where we send out the likes of osbourne and salifou. Domestic and Euorpean cup games star! He'll bring in the silverware! Hev
Yes - definitely (of course!) - but not as a player, as a coach or some sort of matchday ambassador or something like that - would be great

Big_John_10
i'd have the angel that scored 16 prem goals back, the angel we had every other season i wouldn't. And now i wouldn't even put him in the reserves.

Guardian_Angel_M
no, he wouldnt add anything to the current team and I'd rather see Delfouneso play more minutes, plus he's on the brink of retirement and would love him to play his last couple of years here in Colombia
ChinlessWonder
As a straight replacement for Hare yes. Don't know whether he's aged well or not, but if he has i reckon with the service he would now get he would score quite often.
tricella
JPA was class in a very mediocre Villa era. I wouldnt take him back though simply because I think he is beyond it nowadays. It would´ve been fun to see him play with this team though..a much better team than what he had to deal with! I loved it when JPA played here and it is really sad that he hadnt a team around him matching his ability. If it was a choice between JPA and Harewood then I would grab JPA fast as lightning. He is still a better footballer and attacker than Harewood.
cptbollock
I will welcome anyone who has a pair of boots as the team is so bloody small

Gavin@villatalk
Loved JPA - I hardly never get player names on the back of my shirts, but when JPA was at VP I had his name on every shirt I owned during that period! Dunno how good his is now... but would probably rather take a chance and have him as 4th/5th choice striker than Harewood tbh
