dont_do_it_doug.
Really looking forward to seeing Fabian in the flesh. Hopefully Beye can get a run out too. Should be a strong side this, so close to the season.
Davies4England
Will be a very tough game, they're a very good unit and are one of the favourites for Serie A. They arguably have one of the best managers in the world and despite losing one of their best player Melo, Donadel is adequate replacement. I hope we win, but I can't see it happening, we just need a good run out and some some entertaining football. However if Villa Park is rocking like it was v Inter it'll help us alot and a win could be great for morale ahead of Wigan. Inter may seem like the bigger tie but imo Fiorentina will be alot tougher then that game was.

kid_villain
Realistic starting 11: ---------------------------Old Brad---------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- Lichaj----------davies------------cuellar---------shorey- -------------------------------------------------------------- milner---------reo-coker---------shorey-------Young-- ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------Gabby-------Carew However i expect guzan to play the 2nd half and gardner, albrighton, delph, bannan, delfouneso, Clarke maybe all to make an appearence is shorey really that good? mozyFresh
L.Young and Bouma still out. Petrov won't be back for this one. I think Heskey is banned. Curtis should be ok. It might be abit too soon to see Beye, but you never know. Albrighton will only start if MON decides to leave Ashley Young out because he started every match in the peace cup, the international coming up on Wednesday and our first Premier League game only one week away. (though he'll probably start and then be taken off in the second half) My prediction of the starting line up is:- Friedel Lichaj Davies Cuellar Shorey Milner Sidwell Gardner Carew Agbonlahor A.Young Bench:- Guzan Clark Lowry Reo-Coker Delph Albrighton Delfouneso
theboyangel
MON has said that the 3 U21s players will definately start, so I can see a line-up of ................Friedel Beye.Cuellar.Davies.Shorey Milner.Gardner.NRC.Young ..........Gabby.Carew Not bad! Eventually end up with - .................Guzan Lichaj.Cuellar.Clarke.Lowry Albrighton.Sidwell.Delph.Bannan .........Delfouneso.Heskey

Kenye
Beye didnt sign in time to play today so im going with Guzan Gardner Cuellar Davies Shorey Milner Reo-Coker© Delph Young Agbonlahor Carew Subs Friedel Lichaj Sidwell Albrington Bannan Delfouneso Heskey - If not suspended
villa4europe
i think heskey isnt banned from this game but will be for the wigan game, even so with gabby and the fonz not having played yet id be surprised to see him feature
hanxamillion
Why not take a leaf out of fergie's book for this one, put the regular first teamers on the bench to a certain extent and let the youngsters who made the club proud against juventus start the match. What an experience for them to play in front of circa 25k at villa park. Introduce gabby, milner, ash young and carew as the second half unfolds
