OutByEaster? Posted June 8, 2013 Moderator Share Posted June 8, 2013 Whiled away the early afternoon watching Le Feu Follet, a 1963 French black & white effort which was really rather good.

theboyangel
Django Unchained = brilliant! Even the wife enjoyed it!!!! I'd heard it was a long film but it didn't feel it. Favourite seen was with the 'bag heads' discussing their masks - quality!

I absolutely loved this film as a kid, but am weary of re-watching it now in case it turns out to be not that good as I remembered (like Tron). Instead of still awesome (like Labyrinth)

Love this. And Starchaser: The Legend of Orin. Great 80's animated sci-fi and a blatant rip off of Star Wars but still very enjoyable.
8pints
Just introduced my kids to one of my favourites from my teen years: I love the shit out of that movie. As charming and cheesy as ever. The amusing thing about this, it's all a big mistake. That particular Starfighter game was supposed to be delivered to Vegas, not some flea-speck trailer park in the middle of tumbleweeds and tarantulas. So it must be fate, destiny, blind chance, luck even, that brings us together. And as the poet said, "the rest is history".

PieFacE Posted June 10, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted June 10, 2013 (edited) I watched a few films this weekend. Maniac - I liked it a lot! Not usually into horrors/slashers but thought this was excellent. A few stupid moments but they were easily forgivable. Interesting take on a film. 7/10 Stoker - Love love **** loved it! awesome film. awesome acting, awesome camera work.... just awesome. 8.5/10 Edited June 10, 2013 by PieFacE
