tonyh29
Just back from "Trance" Enjoyed it but thought it tried to be too clever for its own good and sorta confused the audience a little ....
Ghost
The trailer for Elysium has just dropped. Neil Blomkamp's next film. He's the guy who did District 9 which I absolutely loved, so I'm definitely looking forward to this. Edited April 10, 2013 by Ghost

Stevo985 Posted April 10, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted April 10, 2013 Primer is brilliant but absolutely mind blowingly complex. One of the only films where I think I was MORE confused the second time I watched it. Brilliant though.
8pints
Primer is brilliant but absolutely mind blowingly complex. One of the only films where I think I was MORE confused the second time I watched it. Brilliant though. Definitely! I must have watched it about five times and each time I start with the mentality of "OK, this time I'm going to get it all" and twenty minutes in my eyes are scrunched, my mouth is open and my mind is blown. That actually makes it sound like a good experience they should put it on the poster! There's a blogspot all about it too - http://theprimeruniverse.blogspot.co.uk/

Stevo985 Posted April 11, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) I won't even pretend to have understood Primer but I did enjoy it. anybody who claims he fully understands what's going on in Primer after seeing it just once is either a savant or a liar I would very much agree with that. Delphouneso
Thought Primer was brilliant, though I think it's the only film I've ever watched where I've had to spend half an hour reading about it afterwards in an attempt to comprehend what actually happened. May already have been mentioned but the trailer for Before Midnight is out: Edited April 11, 2013 by Delphouneso

Delphouneso
I read somewhere a while ago that they always intended to do four or five films, so we could be in for another couple after this one aswell, although if they continue the 9 year thing it'll be 2030 by the time the series ends. sonic_bouma
A very good film with a "Man On Fire" kinda feel too it The little girl's performance is very moving and the knife fight at the end is epic "I own a pawnshop. So I'm gonna keep your gold teeth and chew up everything else".
