Pelle
Been home ill for a few days so I watched some films: Scrooged. Saw it for the first time last year. Thing wass then that I was awfully tired and fell asleep. So this was kind of the first time. And Bill Murray will always be Bill Murray. A good film. Dark shadows. I liked it. I liked the atmosphere and the story. And Johnny Depp is almost always good. Taking lives. I'd seen 3 seasons of Whitechappel and was up for a film about a serial killer. Decent. Could've been better, but good enough. And Jolie shows her breasts which is a rare thing and gives a higher rating.
Jimzk5
It was the rats/cat scene that did me Maybe you could try Sweet Movie next, that's a good one too It was the frozen arms scene, all experiments were actually carried out during the war and the doctors involved never got punished. Its up there with Jacobs ladder as mind **** film
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Total Film seem happy enough. Empire not completely sold. I've been reading through again, and it does come to a natural break at the end of the 6th chapter (when those handy eagles save the day again), but whether or not that natural break is best suited to a 90 minute film rather than a 3 hour film remains to be seen. mjmooney Posted December 7, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2012 Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. My excuse is that it was one of her indoors' choices. Formulaic (Curtis-style romcom meets Slumdog), but salvaged by some good performances by the older generation of British character actors (Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Maggie Smith, Ronald Pickup, Celia Imrie, et al). Quite enjoyable, really.

BOF Posted December 7, 2012 Moderator Share Posted December 7, 2012 anyone seen 7 psychopaths yet? It's top of my list. The cast looks fantastic and I haven't seen Sam Rockwell in a while.
Designer1 Posted December 7, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2012 Absolutely god damn superb. Perfect companion piece to his (Takashi Miike's) 13 Assassins. A much less action, more character driven story with top performances all round. Hard to argue with the 'modern day Akira Kurosawa' comparisons that his recent work has been getting. Highly emotive, highly creative, highly recommended.
VillaForever1970
anyone seen 7 psychopaths yet? Yes, it's a mess. In Bruges and The Guard are far better.
