useless
Deerskin (Quentin Dupieux) - Enjoyed it a lot, comical in an absurd way, and good performances One Week (Buster Keaton) - Excellent, has a childlike surreal quality to it, looks visually good as well A Day in the Country (Jean Renoir) - Great film, has a lot of charm to it, all the performances were great
Popular Post leemond2008
I've just put this on Its been about 6 months since I last stuck it on so I thought its only right that I watch it for approximately the 649th time, its easily my most watched film of all time. I'm only about 10 minutes in but I already want to read the book again (for about the 15th time, easily my most read book of all time) both the film and the book are absolute masterpieces. nothing more to say than that

theboyangel
Oh dear, Morbius was an abomination. Very dull, too dark and poorly written characters, none of which I took to. There really shouldn’t be a sequel!

hippo
Finally seen Elvis - which I thought was fantastic. The film itself is great - if I have a critiscm it's that film is almost totally about his relationship with his dodgy manager. .... The Trailer for Thor was hilarious - I genuinely thought it was spoof or an ad for an ice lolly ! I gave up on marvel some years ago - but I don't think I've seen a trailer so off putting as this - it looks a feckin awful film.

Worth 30 mins of your time Got round to watching this. I did enjoy it because JP is so interesting, but **** me I hate that series. It’s such a great idea for a series but the way it’s edited and narrated and presented is utterly bizarre. It’s like watching You’ve Been Framed

sne
Well Men was certainly something. I like his stuff generally but I'm not sure how good Alex Garland is at sticking his landings these days.
useless
Mommie Dearest (Frank Perry) - Worked as a sort of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? type horror, but lost it's way in the second half Ménilmontant (Dimitri Kirsanoff) - Great film with a sort of experimental feel but also with a storyline to follow, Nadia Sibirskaïa dazzled as the main actor. Paper Soldier (Aleksey German Jr.) - Very good, great cinematography, sound design, and performances by the lead actors, very similar in style to the films of his father.
theboyangel
Just back from Elvis and Thought it was very good. It was typically Baz Luhman but it worked and worked well. Both main leads were very good, even though Col. Tom Parker was portrayed in a slightly pantomime manner. But the sound, editing and costumes were spot on. I'd watch it again

useless
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (Wes Anderson) - Visually charming, with some amusing dialogue along the way, all the cast played their roles well The Fabulous Baron Munchausen (Karel Zemen) - Enchanting visuals and an obvious influence on the above Happy End (Oldřich Lipský) - At the start of the film a man is executed, but he experiences his life backwards, good film with lots of clever ideas

foreveryoung
Apparently that film (The Sadness) was funded by cryptocurrency and money earned by the producers cam girl business.
