GarethRDR
Just watched Caveat. Haven't been that shit up by a horror film in ages, nerves were shot to bits at the end.

theboyangel
Really enjoyed Motherless Brooklyn. A neat 50s set Private Investigator/Corruption movie with a very decent cast and jazz soundtrack.

Probably the greatest action movie ever made Hmmm this will open a debate… whilst I agree it is a great action film, which still looks good today I wouldn’t put it as the greatest (it’s up there though) For me, Raiders of the Lost Ark is probably tops, with the likes of Predator, Die Hard and Point Break running close. (I’ll class Aliens as a sci-fi film although it is an action film at heart)

villa4europe
Aliens the greatest action film ever made Alien the greatest horror film ever made And then as such with the change in genre you can make a good argument for aliens being the best sequel ever made but T2 will run it close
Wainy316
Another vote for T2 as greatest action film ever made, closely followed by Aliens. Cameron was on fire back then.

Evil Dead 2 is technically a requel and not a sequel but I'd agree that it's fantastic. However, it isn't the greatest sequel ever made and neither are the other common picks of T2, Godfather 2, Toy Story 2, Aliens, Wrath of Khan, Dark Knight or Empire Strikes Back etc. The best sequel ever made is clearly Paddington 2. Phil Silvers
Having had a discussion recently with a friend about how much we both missed Gene Hackman in his prime, I looked him up and this was the most recent photo from a couple of years ago. I decided to dig out an old favourite, The Scarecrow 1973, also staring Al Pacino, it's a road movie about a couple of very diffent characters that form a bond that leads them into aquite a few misadventures. I couldn't recommend this film anymore, it's just as good as I remembered from years ago.
