Rodders
Always love that film. There was note recently I read about the film, Murray was in particularly surly mood during shooting as he was going through a divorce and to assit communication the director asked him to get a PA. He then hired someone who was profoundly deaf and could only communicate via sign language - which he didn't understand either. http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/dec/04/10-best-bill-murray-moments-groundhog-day
Ingram85
DEATHGASM!!!!! 9/10 New Zealand low budget shlock horror in the vein of evil dead. Demons, metal music and a quest to save the world. Fantastic stuff. Highly recommended. Edited December 4, 2015 by Ingram85
Chindie Posted December 4, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted December 4, 2015 I saw the Lady in the Van last night. Surprisingly funny, an exceptionally good Maggie Smith performance, and quite touching. It's pretty good.
OutByEaster? Posted December 4, 2015 Moderator Share Posted December 4, 2015 Just watched Rubber. Two parts B-Movie schlock and two parts arthouse message. Not bad from a film whose main protagonist is a tyre called Robert. I liked this a lot.
maqroll
Saw Spotlight tonight...very good. Yet another Boston movie, but this time not portraying the working class as monolithic cartoon characters.

OutByEaster? Posted December 6, 2015 Moderator Share Posted December 6, 2015 I'm not a fan of Mr Mann, if I was being generous, Manhunter is pretty good.

OutByEaster? Posted December 6, 2015 Moderator Share Posted December 6, 2015 Heat is like a long TV movie with a great cast. A wasted opportunity.
