CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Mad Max is an experience, I'll give it that. A two hour chase sequence with about 3 pages of dialogue.

Zatman
watching Wolf of Wall Street and noticed that except for Moneyball that Jonah HIll plays a whiny, moany aggressive prick in all his films even on 21 Jump Street im convinced he must be like that in real life

theboyangel
Watched This Is Where I Leave You, a comedy/drama about a (lapsed) Jewish family brought back together to observe Shiva, following the death of their father. It has a decent cast, with Jason Bateman, Tina fey, rose Byrne, Adam driver and a great turn by Jane Fonda. Very witty and amusing. The interplay between the siblings was brilliant. The synopsis doesn't sound great but it is worth watching!

CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Alas, I was forced to accept reality. Fury Road was not going to be a movie made for men. It was going to be a feminist piece of propaganda posing as a guy flick... The real issue is not whether feminism has infiltrated and co-opted Hollywood, ruining nearly every potentially-good action flick with a forced female character or an unnecessary romance sub-plot to eek out that extra 3 million in female attendees. It has. And the real issue is not whether Hollywood has the audacity to remove the name sake of a movie franchise called MAD FREAKING MAX, and replace it with an impossible female character in an effort to kowtow to feminism. It has. It’s whether men in America and around the world are going to be duped by explosions, fire tornadoes, and desert raiders into seeing what is guaranteed to be nothing more than feminist propaganda, while at the same time being insulted AND tricked into viewing a piece of American culture ruined and rewritten right in front of their very eyes. lolololololol
ThunderPower_14
Mad Max was f***ing amazing. The fact that it's upsetting MRAs is the icing on the cake, but the cake itself is awesome. The best directed action film in forever. It's 2 solid hours of action sequences, but there's little to no obvious CGI and it's all put together brilliantly. Enthralling. See it at the cinema, it's worth it.
donnie
After years of disappointment or comic book shite, FINALLY a blockbuster that gets it right...Mad Max was fu&€£ng AWESOME!!! Looks beautiful, the soundtrack was incredible, the performances were spot on, the action sequences were brilliant. Loved it so much. Mad Max >>>>>>>>>>>> any big budget blockbuster of the last few years. . Edited May 17, 2015 by donnie

villa4europe
To be fair that article isn't completely wrong, it did at times feel like a Charlize Theron film with tom hardy mumbling something in the background, but that doesn't hinder the film in the slightest It's a brilliant film, visually stunning, the world has been excellently created with little need for narrative or explanation, the action is great, the characters aren't developed but the story doesn't need them to be, I'll be amazed if it's not followed up
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
I preferred DOTPOTA to ROTPOTA. Mainly because there is no James Franco in the former.
