Brumerican
I was looking forward to London Boulevard, but any movie that doesn't get reviewed by the day of it's release tends to be wank. Pity, I wouldn't mind staring at Keira Knightly for a few hours. Think I'll go see Unstoppable this weekend. Trains. Explosions. Frenetic editing. Denzel. Win. I haven't really heard a bad word spoken about Unstoppable yet. I'm really looking forward to it myself after the reviews my film buff friend gave me. leemond2008
see unstoppable would have been my choice as well to be honest I'll have to try and sway her
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Think of all the trashy rom-coms that she'll no doubt drag you along too over time, if she isn't willing to go see Denzel Washington and a runaway train, she isn't worth it. leemond2008
nah in all fairness her taste in films is pretty decent, as long as it isn't horror or sci fi then she'll watch it...and she hates chick flicks as well so I normally only haveto find someone else to badger into going to see horrors
AshVilla
Wall Street 2. Not as good as "Wall Street" but still a good film. Gordon Gekko rules
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Well Mark Kermode will review London Boulevard and Unstoppable later on bbc radio five, show starts any minute now actually. So if you have a listen you'll have a decent enough idea what to expect.

CVByrne
Watched The New World again last night. My gushing praise about the film after my first viewing was totally warranted and is now, in my opinion the best movie of the post decade. Bonafide masterpiece. I'm watching a film a night so will be reading and posting in this thread a lot.

GarethRDR
In the spirit of the 'Passage of time' thread I will happily remove "golden oldie" from the above post if needs be.
claret75
Watched Triangle the other night, followed it OK till the end and the bit with the taxi driver. I've got my thoughts on what was happening, but don't want to spoil it, so won't them on here. Found it was very watchable without being that good. CVByrne
Animal Kingdom is excellent, highly recommend.
CVByrne
Toy Story 3 is excellent. Strange Days was recommended earlier in this thread. It has aged terribly badly and is plain boring. Avoid. Will have a look further back, but can anyone tip me up some easy viewing for tonight?
Chindie Posted December 3, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted December 3, 2010 Not out yet, but since this is basically the movie thread... If this is a bad film, I'll be shocked. The trailer looks great. Is it me or does Josh Brolin in that look nothing like Josh Brolin?
Banger75
A film that hasn't been made yet, but surely is in the pipeline, would be a expose of FIFA, preferably by Michael Moore. Please make this film.
GarethRDR
Excellent film on the box a few days ago... For anyone who enjoyed Drag Me To Hell, this is a must see.

CVByrne
Watched Greenberg the other day. It was a letdown, too much effort went into making the characters different and not enough time on making them engaging.
CVByrne
Watched Sky Blue / Wonderful Days, very good. Worth a look. Also saw The Town, which was ok.
