Watched one you’ve watched them all, they all have the same performances, same style of comedy, same kooky characters and usually the same actors as well.

I think the new Godzilla movie has the potential to be something really special. It seems like there may be more monsters than Godzilla too, I canny wait!

I reckon it will be absolute gash myself. Too much CGI and buildings being destroyed.

As monster movies went, I think Cloverfield was done very well.

this .....its going to be absolute wank

Not with that director making it, it won’t.

Director David Fincher and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin turned the backstabbing intrigue of Facebook's inception into the verbose and brilliant movie The Social Network. Now they're poised to do the same for the another major technology company of the contemporary era: Apple, and its founder Steve Jobs.

Variety reports that Fincher is in talks to direct the as-yet untitled drama, written by Sorkin as an adaptation of the official Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson. Sorkin revealed in 2012 that he envisaged an unusual structure for the film: three single-take scenes, each one following a major Apple product launch. "This entire movie is going to be three scenes and three scenes only. That all take place in real time," he told The Daily Beast.

Prisoners...

I thought they should have had the father found dead. Having him die to save his daughters life would have been a more poignant way to end it and far more in keeping with the tone of the piece. As it is he'll do a couple of years in nick and then it's on to happily ever after.

I thought they left it so that you didn't know if they found Jackman or not ?

That said, very enjoyable. 8/10

Would have been a solid 8 bit instead has to make do with a 6

They're all pretty damn good. I suppose The Royal Tenenbaums would be a good one to start with.

They're all good, personal favourites are The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou and Moonrise Kingdom (however also love The Royal Tenenbaums and The Darjeeling Limited - may as well chuck in Fantastic Mr Fox too)

Expect to see regular cast members, extreme kookiness and always a sublime soundtrack!

Anderson's films are beautiful to watch and whilst not 'laugh out loud' funny, certainly are very amusing in they're own unique way.

Really looking forward to his latest, The Grand Budapest Hotel.

I watched that yrs ago with uni mates. I thought it was the worst film I had ever seen. None of us laughed once, perhaps I was missing something.

12 years a slave was brilliant and deserves all the plaudits but it never seems like 12 years at all. More like 12 months a slave, as the passage of time wasnt noticeable. Thats my only gripe. Great movie and no arguments if it wins the oscar. Far from boring as well.

Wolf on wall street was a better film though and deserves an oscar imo.

got a feeling WoWS is this years zero dark thirty, nominated for a fair number of awards and gets rave reviews by people who have seen it but has been criticised in yankland (for glamourising his excessive lifestyle) and that will sway the voters towards a safer film

Even critics who love Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street" have acknowledged that the film is an amoral romp, one that ultimately implicates the audience itself in the bad behavior that has played out on screen. Needless to say, "The Wolf of Wall Street" has become one of the year's most polarizing films, with reviews that range from fawning to outright pans. New York Magazine critic David Edelstein slammed "The Wolf of Wall Street" in his review, writing that the "movie is thumpingly insipid," but at least he didn't shout that in Scorsese's face.

As picked up by TheWrap, 75-year-old actress Hope Holiday posted to her Facebook page that Scorsese was heckled by an unnamed screenwriter following a weekend screening of "The Wolf of Wall Street" for Academy Awards voters.

last night was torture at the Academy--"The Wolf Of Wall Street"---three hours of torture--same disgusting crap over and over again---after the film they had a discussion which a lot of us did not stay for--the elevator doors opened and Leonardo D. Martin S. and a few others got out then a screen writer ran over to them and started screaming--shame on you --disgusting--

In the comments section of her Facebook post, Holiday, who starred for Billy Wilder in "The Apartment" and "Irma la Douce," revealed that she also admonished the director, but then removed herself from the situation before a fight broke out. ("I ran down the stairs.")

A representative for Paramount, the studio releasing "Wolf of Wall Street," told TheWrap that no one screamed directly at Scorsese, but one person did relay a "negative comment" to the director. HuffPost Entertainment contacted Paramount for comment on the report, and this post will be update if they respond.

This isn't the first time Scorsese's films have elicited emotional responses from audiences. As one prominent awards publicist told HuffPost Entertainment, Scorsese's 1995 film "Casino" was called "filth" during an Academy screening because of its violent content. Meanwhile, Scorsese's 1988 film, "The Last Temptation of Christ," was denounced by Christian groups before it was even released.

Holiday, an Academy member, did provide some insight into the big-picture thoughts of Oscar voters in the comments section of her Facebook post. "Are there really any good films any more?" she wrote. "Maybe it' just me."

'Her' is a better film than all of them.

Haven't seen it yet but definitely on my list.

If it's better than WoWS and 12YAS then I'll be a very very happy boy.

Better that WoWS but 12 Years a Slave edges it for me.

Her IS fantastic though (and a little bit terrifying in some ways).
