villa4europe
I've gone with Zodiac (2007) not as current as I would like but seems to be a decent cast and it ain't to long before bed, I will report back my findings. its about 3 hours long isn't it?! watched django again today, still like it, still think its too long, the scene with QT is completely pointless and at times the violence is a bit too gratuitous , I don't mind violence but its violence for the sake of violence and over cooked, think its the acting that sets it apart its pretty much superb all round "I count 6 shots n*gger" "I count 2 guns n*gger"

tonyh29
Back from 5th EstateBit of a slow paced film ( hardly surprising given the story it's telling ) but still not bad ... well acted by Cumberbatch even if I think his accent slipped a few times Made me want to visit wiki-leaks now so that will be more of my life wasted

Folski
Have an hour left in Zodiac, stopped it deliberately as I'm working 9-9 today and I'd have died if I stayed up another hour and gone to work, really enjoying it to be honest. Didn't realize Fincher was director and I can only think the name threw me off it's scent all these years as I probably thought it was something like Saw or a poor horror. Morpheus
Went to see 'How I Live Now' without reading a review or knowing what it was about so had zero expectation. Pleasantly surprise at how good it was and would recommend. Really tempted to see this but really unsure as to its delivery. What would you consider its strengths? Even though its story is based around a nuclear attack by terrorists it isn't too dark, focuses more on the love story and you leave the cinema uplifted. Acting is also very good considering it's three main characters are very young. It won't win any Oscars but well worth taking your partner for a date night. Chindie Posted October 17, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted October 17, 2013 Just seen Filth at the Electric (seems appropriate as it used to be a porn cinema). It's a brilliantly darkly comic character examination abbot a very very bad copper (/person) indeed. Recommended.

Morpheus
Watched Zodiac and thought it was an over long mind numbing pile of toss. One of those movies whereby it's cool to like but utter crap to watch. 7 was much much better. Edited October 18, 2013 by Morpheus

CarewsEyebrowDesigner
I used to think 'Zodiac' was his best film too, but let's be honest, 'Fight Club' is his best. Although I do love 'The Social Network' and 'Se7en'. Might watch 'Se7en' tonight, actually.

I’ve never even noticed how long it is; i watch it quite regularly as well.
