True. It's just this season where we seem to revert to defensive mode when we go in front. The tactic today should have been to get the second goal and finish Bournemouth off but it seemed to be hold out for the 1-0.

it is what it is, but to be a top team, or to want to hang with the big boys, you have to be winning those types of games at home.

I expected a win and was very confident we’d get it. Feels like a defeat after that last second goal.

Irritating one. Thought we played well until the goal, after which they seemed to just hope they could sleepwalk their way to full time. Nearly got away with it but just felt like they were asking for Bournemouth to equalise with how we simply stopped playing.

Bournemouth are a good side and a point against them isn't the end of the world, but the manner of the result and the upcoming fixtures make it a sour one.

On a brighter note I thought Ramsey was great. His final ball could have been better at times, but he otherwise really made things happen and was back to his best in terms of ball carrying.

Games like that we have to be putting away. But look football throws up these types of results. We need to brush it off not dwelling on it and get back to winning ways.

Really poor challenge from Barkley to give a free kick away at the end which led to the goal. There was no need for it at all.

 

I don’t think anyone can argue with any of the yellow cards given out today. 
 

We were poor in the last 10 mins which allowed them to come at us. Poor game management.

Why on earth did Martinez keep hoofing the ball up during extra time when the ball kept coming straight back.

That, in my opinion, is what lost us the two points.

It feels more like a loss than a draw.

Pretty pathetic today, we won't get in the Champions League again if we're so sloppy and lethargic after every European game, we should have won that comfortably

Sloppy from everyone going forward all day. Really, grim wasteful stuff.

Huge lack of leadership final 20. Booting it and hoping to hang on. Been a while since we tried that.

Digne and McGinn have played themselves out of the XI hopefully.

Bailey shouldn't be getting important minutes for the foreseeable. Painful watching him limp around like a dying horse.

Because there was no one to pass to.

Agree it cost us but it wasn't something Martinez decided to do on his own.

Brighton just pissed away a 2 goal league to give Wolves there first points of the season. Bournemouth are a good side who just beat Arsenal. Not a great result obviously, but each point matters.
