Mccoist made a good point, why did emery take him off and bring on Ollie?

Same reason he takes off Ollie and brings on Duran every week...

It's just roles reversed

But when you've had 20/30 mins rather than Ollie's 60/70 minutes all season, you might have expected a full 90 or at least a bit longer after just scoring.

Also, the man is absolutely bat shit crazy, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back out in a Batman costume 😂

A huge fan. He’s even got the lion tattooed on him. He wanted to play for us but the appeal of playing for his hometown club was something he couldn’t say no to at the time.

But why is he a fan? Whats the link?

For the first time I do actually feel for Duran.

If he had scored a bit earlier and Ollie wasn't call d he might have stayed on

Was probably too late to change his mind though.

Chill out John your time will come.

Started a UCL game at home, played 65 mins, scored a goal. If he’s got the arse ache about that no one can help him.

1981 League win and the 1982 European Cup

Q] When did you start supporting Aston Villa?

A] I am a Bologna fan. I grew up here so it would be impossible not to support the Rossoblù!

But I began to support Villa in 1981, the season when we won the League Championship.

I remember that the first private TV channels started to broadcast English football in Italy, and I became keen on the big challenge for the title with Ipswich Town.

It was a truly memorable season, even if the results did not arrive to me in real time like they do now!

What was it about Villa that appealed to you? I fell in love with the shirt, which is both beautiful and unique.

But the history of the club also fascinated me.
