That Fulham player who got Jaden sent-off should have owned up and admitted that it was only a nudge.

He should have told the ref that Philogene was not my shover! 😆

Brilliant!!!

Great performance from us after a difficult start. Martinez......wow . Cash, very unlucky tbh, his arm shouldn't have been extended but it was from point blank range and the ball was from behind him before it was headed against his arm.

Torres was weak for their goal, he's waiting for the ball to drop before playing it, he should be pushing their player off it, he steadied his game after that though and his distribution was first class, as normal.

Jiménez.........he's a great player 👏, took Carlos to close him out but even then he was a handful

Rogers.....at times he's flickering pure brilliance, Ramsey grew into the game, those two on the left caused Fulham real moments of panic. Onana, very good, Tielemans,  started off abit underwhelming but after about 10 minutes found his feet and ran the game from the middle, brilliant.

Watkins. ...what a header, best headed goal this season, so far. Bailey, obviously playing with pain and unfit due to his injury, hopefully Beundia can step up and take some pressure off him, we know how good he is.

Ref .....poor, Fulham kicked the ball away countless times in the first half, no punishment at all. Jaden........dear God what was the ref thinking, both bookings were debatable , the second especially but the first as well after allowing Fulham countless indiscretions first half.

Good to see the bench staked with quality.

Overall impression,  we ain't quite playing at our best .....yet, you can see flickers and we have great quality.

Looks like it's our season. 😆

Bailey has lost his mojo at the moment, hopefully gets back to his best soon.

It's a difficult watch atm. It will come back, hopefully when we need it most, as is sometimes the way.

Good performance overall after a horrible start. Pau obviously should not get done as easy as that, but Jimenez is a tricky customer and that was a smart finish.

Otherwise thought we were good defensively and dealt with the potentially tricky combo of Iwobi-SmithRowe-Traore well. Cash did give the penalty which was unfortunate but solid otherwise and Digne is a smart defender.

Tielemans ran the show from the middle. Rogers & Ramsey had some good moments. Bailey is not happening for him so far this season and perhaps we need to try him back as impact sub for a while. Watkins didn't get all that much of the ball but always smart with his movement and a brilliant header is why he's there. Hopefully this can be the season he reaches 20 in the league.

I agree Watkins didn’t see much of the ball, but he could easily have had a hat track with the chances we created for him. This is a difference with this Villa side we would be talking about these chances all day long many years ago but now they are just forgotten in the mele of our attacking frenzy.

It was a professional performance on our part. Went behind to a soft goal but didn't panic - just clicked up a gear.

Rogers was highly influential and is so close to being elite. His mate Palmer would have had a hat trick today, but this boy is fun to watch.

Ollie was pretty well held today apart from that one moment of pure quality. What a great header it was.

Bailey's definitely struggling. His body language isn't great and he's not providing value on the pitch in the slightest.

With Jaden's second yellow I thought the Fulham player was getting booked for diving at first. A very soft decision but Jaden should not have given him a decision to make and kept his hands down.

Happy to see such a full squad, and with such quality on the bench to call on.

The perfect early birthday present for me as my birthday is Monday. Over to you Bologna to give me a slightly late birthday present of a Villa win on Tuesday.

just a classy performance. felt like we didn't need to get out of 2nd gear for it. i was worried about fulham but they were poor in the end. kept their big players largely quiet.

wanted 7 points this week, 2 massive games to go. 9 pts would be amazing

Great win. Tielemans was superb, Digne excellent too. Emi is just a phenomenon.

Was in the Fulham end by the Villa fans who were outstanding throughout. Not sure Craven Cottage has heard noise like that, they were equal parts impressed and annoyed and thoroughly dominated on and off the pitch.

Great result away at a team who have been in good form themselves. Very happy with that.

Glad Watkins got another goal, a beaut of a header. One more nearer breaking Gabby’s PL scoring record.

Referee and Var team looked abysmal, not sure what Cash could do with the ball headed at him from a foot away. So much for Var not re-refereeing. Only when it suits more like.

Also Philogene yellows were a joke, and a disgrace after what we have seen not given to our opponents in recent weeks. If that second yellow was a shove, what about the one Adama did on Digne in the box as he was crossing, should have been a penalty to us if that is the force required for a shove.

Great win! We didn't really look like we were really firing on all cylinders but we were in control for the vast majority of the match. Fulham are a good side this season and comfortably beating them away is a big result.

Youri continues his brilliant season. Ollie showing why he keeps getting to start ahead of Duran, and Emi is the best penalty saving keeper in history.

Good win and big three points getting us back in the top four.

Ref making it up as he went, how did Rashford stay on against us last game and Jayden goes this game for nothing.

Great performance overall. We're a joy to behold when we get our passing game going. Tielemans is just absolute class.
On Fulham: They are the most mid-table team ever I think? A squad of decent quality, but they don't have a single player that would get a start for the teams above them. Usually in a team that is top 10ish there would be at least 1 or 2 who are on the radar of bigger clubs (I guess Palhinha was the last top-level player they had), but there's just a mediocrity about their recruitment strategy, I think. Competent, but not at all exciting. Supporting them must be enjoyable enough, but a bit boring, also.

He's injured and playing with injections.

Nonsense !  Emery wouldn't touch a player in that state and doesn't need to either !

Professional performance, great time management after the 3rd goal to ease off and rest a few players. Thought Cash and Digne did very well despite the penalty (it always seems to be him). Tielemans consistent and I actually thought Bailey looked brighter in the first half than he has done recently. Onwards
