But on the flip side, Morgan Rogers was saying in his post match interview with the lovely Laura Woods & two massive helmets, that Emery gave them about 53 seconds to enjoy the Bayern win & then started to talk about the ManU game, lol. bannedfromHandV Posted October 6 Share Posted October 6 (edited) Looks like Unai’s trying to play Bailey into form, also casts doubt on the ‘he wasn’t fit’ assertion of his performance on Wednesday, which was really poor by anyones standards let alone his own. Not sure what’s up with him exactly (best mate left the club, his exile from the national team?) but he needs to rediscover his form quickly and hopefully today can be the catalyst. Emery said he's prepared for this game more than the Bayern game. If we had a mid week European game, I'd be a little worried, but we don't, so no excuses really and we should be fresher. Too much holding and passing back and not enough threat in the box recently.
