Good run out for the kids. Terrible game. Buendia MotM jusf for his goal and putting himself about a bit.

Special mention to Barkley and Onana who were shockingly bad. Not even League 1 level.

Game was a bit meh but Love to see that even the kids are being groomed to play Emery ball , looking composed , head up and looking for the pass, didn’t really allow Wycombe to blood and thunder and make a game of it 

Swinkels looks a good prospect at CB few others did ok without really shining

Thought Bogarde played well at CB alongside an inexperienced guy.  Thought he took initiative and led the line well until 93m 45s. 

Nice for Eminto get a goal, but looks rusty obviously.

Thought Barkley tried some stuff that didn't pay off, but was largely the experienced pro we needed him to be.

Gauci looks quite good I think, nice and calm with the ball.

K Young looks raw, but pacey.

Russian named guy looked shaky without the ball, but ok with it.

Maatsen looked alright, but not as effective as Digne at the moment.

Everyone else was 6/10

Swinkels looked decent apart from switching off at the twice in a minute from basic long balls. Borland looked tidy when he came on. Gauchi doesnt seem to fall apart like Olsen

All jokes aside, this is what top sides do. Mix of 1st teamers and youngsters get the result, workhorses get the midweek off. Job done

Not great, but did enough. Wycombe deserved that one at the end.

Swinkels, Gauci, Young mostly good. And Borland off the bench. 

Duran while didn't get much supply, thought put in a disciplined performance aand good for Emi to get 90 mins and a goal, still long way to go to get back to where he was. Likes of Bailey, Barkley, Onana, Maatsen playing within themselves, can't judge them too much on a game like this.
