Week 1 - Rookie QBs galore

Jittery QB, butterfinger recievers and all the TEs are missing in action. Glad we are leading.

There are things to work on

I wonder if this is lights out defense by Seattle or if the Broncos are really really poor. Season will tell I guess but it's not pretty

Saints start with a bang in the Dome , same place their season will end with a bang on 9th Feb  :D

Got the old Kamara back but more importantly without Carmichael the offence look potent again  , big test in Dallas next week though

Take it with a pinch of salt. The Panthers stink in absolutely every department :)

Losing Nacua did the Rams in, him and Kupp on the field is a big difference.

Lions will be tough, again

How Aaron Rodgers earned his hometown’s unconditional love

Quote

On a recent August morning, Wallen took a short ride down the street and parked it in front of a local bookstore, called The Bookstore, a trip he takes most mornings to catch up with his friend Mike. It’s a store that almost went under in 2021.

Around the corner, there’s a barbecue joint Rodgers used to frequent with his parents, best known for their ribs and brisket. The owner, Scott McLeod, gets choked up when he thinks about the dire state of his restaurant three years ago. “We didn’t know what we were going to do. We were down to the wire where we didn’t know if we were going to make it.”

A few doors down is Naked Lounge, known for its quirky furniture and live music. One of Rodgers’ favorite coffee shops, he once appeared in a music video with a former owner of the shop.

The three businesses share one thing in common: During the COVID-19 pandemic, when things were at their worst, it was Rodgers who stepped in to save them, providing an infusion of money that enabled each to make ends meet.

(1) The barbecue joint mentioned isn’t that good

(2) I think this article makes my town sound even more provincial than it already is

Pains me to see Mayfield playing so well, while Watson stinks the place out :(

Good thing we mortgaged our future for a pathetic sex pest.

Good argument now that it was the worst trade of all time. Texans are laughing. Only a matter of time before Winston is in as the starter.

Tyreek Hill grips av polus utanför Hard Rock Stadium.

Having watched the whole incident on Youtube, while Hill could have been a bit more polite, & he was speeding pretty fast, the one copper in particular had a massive ego, a massive chip on his shoulder, which was only matched by the quickness of his temper.

The submission & respect that he instantly demanded was pretty irritating & when he didn't get it, he instantly manhandled the player with force that was overly aggressive towards the scenario unfolding.

Nice to see us follow it up with a smashing against a team that doesn't stink in every department. 😁
