DevonIsAPlaceOnEarth
Superb tie, give the squad players a game.
NorthEastVillan
Typical we had a 4 in 6 chance of a home tie and end up away Wycombe not a bad one though.
VillaLion63
How come United got drawn out before us ? Edited August 28 by VillaLion63
Tubby
Of course we're bloody away whilst the other UCL teams get a home draw. Typical!
Delphinho123
Even with the format as it is, I fully expected us to draw United away. 1

fightoffyour Posted August 28 VT Supporter Share Posted August 28 (edited) We got as close to drawing Man Utd as was physically possible. They got ball 3 i(Barnsley) instead of ball 2 (Villa). Edited August 28 by fightoffyour

Mantis
Seems fitting that in our first season back in the top level European competition for decades we're back at the ground which was one of the nadirs of our relegation season.

mykeyb
Just now, sheepyvillian said: Is that a riddle? Why don't they just put all the teams in one bowl and pick. Why should 4 of 6 big teams be guaranteed a home draw
MrBlack
1 minute ago, mykeyb said: Why don't they just put all the teams in one bowl and pick. Why should 4 of 6 big teams be guaranteed a home draw Because they had to ensure those 6 teams didn't play each other as there would be no free week to play those fixtures. This is thanks to europa competitions now spreading fixtures over two consecutive midweeks at the point this round gets played.
