All the depth that was lauded on the first weekend is gone already.

Back to two goalkeepers on the bench.

Yeah the bench looks absolutely decimated 🙄. When philogene, cash, Mings and Kamara are back in a few weeks there won't be any space for half those. Some of the squad quality players wont even make it on to the bench.

Yup thanks PSR

Hopefully, we have recalls on some of those loans. Enzo and Iling in particular.

We have players to return such as Carlos, Mings and Kamara in the not too distant future…

Philogene injured today. Cash.

Bogarde must been doing some real bits on the training field. He was definitely impressive in preseason. Must really impressed Emery.

I’m looking forward to seeing how he does in todays game

Who needs Geertruida? 😁

Bogarde over Ned is a surprise. I’d have liked to see Maatsen instead of Digne.

Back to 2 keepers on the bench. Not sure what’s happened to Jaden. Maybe Iling Jr and Enzo should have stuck around, they’d have been in the squad today.

Nedeljkovic showed he was not ready last week. A fantastic opportunity for Bogarde to make the spot his own.

Kosta is a great prospect but this would further indicate that he isn't quite ready yet, which there's absolutely no shame in. It's extremely rare for an 18 year old defender to start games or play with any regularity in a top league, hence when they do you get prices like Yoro went for being touted for them.

Will be interesting to see how Bogarde is used. You'd think with him being a guy that has played centrally that he'd be more suited to playing RB as we did last season, rather than how we've done so far this time around. In any case it's encouraging to see so many indications that he's been impressing Emery and Co.

Because we can have 9 subs the bench is a bit of a mixed bag. If it was 5 subs like it was for years it would be very good.

International break now so hopefully Philogene back fit for next game.

Maybe Rogers will pick up a slight "knock" so he doesn't have to waste his time with the under 21's.
