Actually a good performance for 70 mins and should have been ahead but you have to take your chances. Unfortunately Ollie squandered 2 brilliant ones.

Incredibly frustrating. Should have won. In any other season I would be mildly happy with the performance in spite of the result but we're a top team now so it stings.

Positives. Rogers looks incredible. Might be our best player outside of Emi. Has it all. We played some lovely moves at times.

Negatives. Horrible misses from Ollie and we basically gave up at 2-0. We messed up lots of games last season by being wasteful. We definitely need another forward.

Some uncharacteristically poor errors from two of our best men cost us, sometimes you just have one of those days. 

Against a team as good - particularly defensively - as Arsenal you have to make the most of the few chances you're going to get and we just didn't at all. Those are a couple of absolute shockers from Watkins, then their first goal is out of nowhere and compounded by another that Martinez on a normal day does better with.

A lot to be encouraged by in general play though. Keep going as we have in these first two games and there's nothing to be worried about this season. Rogers in particular was unbelievable in how he bullied them time and again.

Good performance from the boys, just couldn't put them away today, and football at this level we now find ourselves being a part of is very cruel.

I am upset as I obviously will be about any loss but we had some really good spells. Onto the next one lads.

Thought we played well, can't miss the chances that we did against teams like arsenal, you will always be punished for it. Onto next week!

It was there for the taking. We are one of the 4 best teams in the Prem. Only question is how much this CL run will take out of us. Going to be a fun season.

Watkins cost us the game really, harsh as it sounds.

Rogers is going to be a beast this season, our best player by a mile.

An annoying defeat, but won't be a loss.

If we play like that all season we will get top 4, if Arsenal play like that all season they won't win the league. We will be fine.

Big few weeks for Ollie ahead. The two misses today are absolutely shocking and he’s cost us 3 points.

Martinez with another soft one v Arsenal he will be disappointed with that 

Rogers man of the match , should be getting an England call up any time sooN ….Yuri ran him a close second 

Saka  still an annoying whinge bag , even managed to get a free kick for kicking  Yuri’s  leg cause he screamed for it , refs need to stop buying it and tell him to get on with the game

Thought we played pretty well. Kept the game tight. Had the better chances until they scored. On another day we win that.
