So how do they draw that then because it’s going to be based on pots isn’t it? Or if they draw an English team after one has been drawn already, do then draw again?

The whole league stage is drawn by computer with national teams kept apart unless otherwise not possible (Italy and Germany with 5 teams might be tricky for the computer algorithm).

I think the countries with the bonus spots are not restricted from being kept apart

Means we could be drawn in a group with 2 Italian/German teams then.  Tasty!

Draw is on BBC red button on Thursday. I say it's 5pm but I presume it will be the usual Uefa nonsense of showing pointless montages and spending 20 minutes welcoming guests onto the stage so more likely to actually start at half 5.

Hadn't realised Amazon will be showing a lot of games, which is nice.

Aww crap. They don't have exclusivity on any do they?

I was relying on all of the away games being on Sky or TNT.

They are all on TNT and Discovery+

United Kingdom: TNT Sports (discovery+)

You can access TNT through Amazon Prime as a bolt on.

clicky click

Through TNT Sports fixtures via a Discovery+ Premium add-on subscription, you can also watch all the UEFA Champions League matches in one place. This not only includes the top Tuesday matches, but also allows fans to jump between Prime and TNT Sports matches without leaving the live coverage

Are they saying that all matches are shown on Prime?

TNT is available on the Prime platform.

You have to sign up to TNT and pay the ridiculous prices (£30.99pm) they charge to access it.

That's the spirit.

And they wonder why people resort to dodgy streams.

Just an interesting (nerdy) stat I noticed.  There are 12 teams starting with A or B.  You have to go all the way to 13th place alphabetically before you get to Celtic.

Na uh - 17 matches will be on Prime, on Tuesdays...

(Might have read you post wrong - you might also be saying this!)

Amazon Prime Video will show 17 first-pick Champions League matches on Tuesday night, in what will be their first-ever season of providing live coverage of the competition.

So do you have to pay extra for those matches if you have Prime?

Nope. Same as Prime showing premier league games last season - if you have Prime, you have the games. But if you want the others, it's TnT.
