MrBlack
My completely random prediction: Bayern and Inter Shakthar and Atletico Lille and Celtic Bologna and Brest We might have a good idea who we're playing before we get drawn thanks to the "not being able to play more than two teams from the same country" thing. In my prediction i'm guessing we'll be home in the first match ups, away in the second meaning some pretty mundane away trips and really tricky home ties. As nice as Madrid and Milan are, they're not exactly unusual destinations.Would be about the worst possible draw for us I guess, hence my thoughts being that's how the draw will go. God, I don't want to play diving Harry Kane again.

Pongo Waring
Sadly we get knocked out to Bayern. Revenge for 1982. Round of 16: Opponent: Atalanta First Leg (Home): Aston Villa 2-1 Atalanta Summary: Villa takes a slim lead at Villa Park, with a strong attacking display. Goals from Ollie Watkins and Leon Bailey give them the edge. Second Leg (Away): Atalanta 1-1 Aston Villa Summary: Villa holds on for a draw in Bergamo, with a late equalizer from John McGinn securing their passage to the quarterfinals. Aggregate Score: Aston Villa 3-2 Atalanta Result: Aston Villa advances to the quarterfinals. Quarterfinals: Opponent: Bayern Munich First Leg (Home): Aston Villa 1-2 Bayern Munich Summary: A tough match at Villa Park sees Bayern take a narrow win. Villa scores through a well-placed header by Tyrone Mings, but Bayern's experience shows. Second Leg (Away): Bayern Munich 3-1 Aston Villa Summary: Despite taking an early lead through Ollie Watkins, Villa is outclassed in Munich. Bayern's attack proves too strong, and they score three times to seal the tie. Aggregate Score: Bayern Munich 5-2 Aston Villa Result: Aston Villa is eliminated in the quarterfinals. Summary of Aston Villa's Champions League Campaign: League Phase: Qualified with 12 points from 8 matches. Round of 16: Defeated Atalanta 3-2 on aggregate. Quarterfinals: Eliminated by Bayern Munich with a 5-2 aggregate loss. Aston Villa's campaign would be considered a success, especially considering their return to European competition. Reaching the quarterfinals of the Champions League and competing against top teams like Bayern Munich would be a significant achievement.
