Flekken touched the ball because he was making an attempt to play it.

Unlike Cash who, according to VAR, luckily touched the ball but had no intention of doing anything other than taking out Soucek.

ye, when you touch the ball but dont mean to, as confirmed by our mind reading wizard refs, it doesnt count.

This is again another problem. We are now letting these dreadful officials decide how much of the ball you actually need to get for it to be a foul or not. Cant wait for a Man City player to get the smallest touch of the ball later and the refs claim he "got a touch" or something.

Re the Eze free kick.

If VAR applied common sense, they should say well even if there was a collision it did not affect the goal in any way and allow it

My commentator said ref blew his whistle before the ball hit the net

I know chelsea have been a basket case over the last couple of years, but aside from jackson, that lineup is insanely good, if they can actually sort themselves out and start playing football properly, they will be really, really dangerous.

Neither Chukwuemeka or Kellyman on the Chelsea bench, really is a terrible career move for any youngster to go there.

Kellyman will likely be loaned out to championship or abroad. He is still very young.

Not good for Carney though, a year ago he was starting games for Chelsea in the prem so two years after moving he really needs to be thinking hard about his future.

Lesley Ugochukwu joined Southampton on season loan deal so that's the sort of move Carney needs to make as at stage of his career where he needs to be playing 30-40 games a season.

Chelsea fans arent happy Chukwuemeka isnt in the squad. They seem to rate him quite highly

Enzo is captain, absolute disgraceful club

Fofana starting aswell so the Sky cameras will be panning on the two to see if there's any disagreement.

There's no way Fofana will be fully behind Fernandez given how he rightfully called him out on social media after that video was leaked so feels Chelsea is a melting pot again in terms of team spirit and then a bad run of results and all hell will break loose.

Keeper is average. Colwill o.k but Fofana not played for nearly two years. Lavia been out a year. Jackson very random.

We're in that fantastic position as a club now where you look at what we put out yesterday and what Chelsea have put out and really if you were swopping some players it would be mostly based on reputation given how well our players know the system. There's no way for example I'd be swopping Pau for Fofana based on what he was doing at Leicester three years ago. Same with Lavia and Tielemans.

Nkunku is probably someone who'd be ideal for our system but again he's been out for a year and we have Rogers primed for an outstanding season.
