Great win. Rumours of our demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Should've been far more comfortable than 1-2 but West Ham are always an awkward side to face with their style and just like last year they will take points off our rivals once they've integrated the new signings into the first 11.

Very strong opening day performance. 

By far the better side and probably should have won by a couple goals at least. Onana superb debut, easily MOTM.

It is entirely in keeping with how crackers Jhon Duran is that he was pointing to the ground to say "I'm staying put" without thinking that the ground he's pointing at is West Ham's pitch.

We were miles better than Wham. Infact I didn't expect that performance at all. 

Could of been 3 or 4 nill on another day. Morgan shouldve scored atleast one.

Watkins and Rogers need to, and will, improve.

Cash and Duran have not a brain cell between them.

Ned very nervous. He'll issue himself 25 belt lashings for that.

We'll struggle every game McGinn plays left mid. Kills him. Kills us. Disappointed in Emery for not dealing with this.

Absolute headcase! I really hope we keep having some funny & crazy moments with him over the years. Great goal today, it's what he needed.
