Cash is between him and the ball and playing the ball - it's not rash, it's not daft, it's exactly what you want Cash to do and he does it well and gets fouled. The ref doesn't see the touch and gives a penalty and the VAR don't overturn him because VAR makes all of its decisions based around the politics of VAR rather than with their eyes. El Segundo Posted August 17 Share Posted August 17 (edited) For those complaining about the Cash criticism, it was a very risky and unnecessary challenge that gave the ref a decision to make. And since the ref seems to be called Homer anyway, he should not have taken that risk. It's the kind of bad decision he makes all too frequently. So many times lunges in and mistimes it or slides into the opponent. Or goes to block a cross with his arms miles away from his body asking for them to be hit. Drives me mad. And just seen this on the BBC website: Matty Cash has conceded more penalties than anybody else since his Premier League debut in September 2020 - six.
