There's no chance he's signing a new contract when he knows a club or clubs are willing to pay £35m for him. He can sign in January and bank a huge signing bonus in the millions. Shocking that after spending money to break into the Champions League we can’t spend the money to have a real go at it. A net spend of roughly £25 million is not sufficient for us to go deeper into the competition.
