What, you fell in the Canal as well?  Bad day man!

Nah the water is really fresh in that part of wales so it wasn’t too bad. Now if it was south wales then yeah you’re talking a bad day.

"A 27-year-old man has pleaded guilty to arson with intent to endanger life, violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Thomas Birley, of Rowms Lane, Swinton, Rotherham, is accused of stoking the fire in the bin that was pushed against an exit at a hotel housing asylum seekers in Manvers on 4 August.
He was also accused of throwing items at the police and squaring up to officers with riot shields while brandishing a police baton.
Recorder of Sheffield Judge Jeremy Richardson KC told the court the case was, so far, "unquestionably the most serious" in relation to the disorder in Rotherham.
"This is a crime which carries a life sentence.
"I rule nothing in and rule nothing out," Richardson adds.
Birley is due to be sentenced on 6 September."

Doesn't bode well for those lighting fires at the Tamworth hotel fire exit.

They were trying for a good 30-45 minutes. I’m sure the police have lots of 4k footage of those involved from the drone and all the videos on social media.

At the end of the day you're trying to burn down a building with people inside. It should be manslaughter and possibly murder. How evil do you have to be to even attempt that? Regardless of your political views that's just pure evil.

That’ll get the media covering it if they make it stick.

Can't see how they wouldn't, unfortunately it has to be tried by jury regardless of plea, so that will take some time. The bigger sentences will take longer to come out because of their very nature. Magistrates are only allowed to try summary offences where the sentence is within their limits. This is an indictable offence and the sentence is waaaaaay outside that that a magistrate can hand out

We (Brum) get our water from Wales. The best "Council Pop" in the Country. The Elan Valley, courtesy of that wonderful adopted Brummie, Joseph Chamberlain.

That's how far we've come in the UK. Starting to resemble the 1920s deep south in America. For

Nothing at all like "1920s deep South America". I don't see any black people hanging from magnolia trees for allegedly raping white women.

Quite right. But there are, without a doubt, those who would relish doing that very thing if they thought they could get away with it.

Unfortunately, you can't stop people thinking, however hateful their thoughts may be.

You seem to struggling to differentiate between "resemble" and "exactly like"

The actual hanging wasn't far off with some of these sub humans.

Stop with the semantics. It's a ridiculous comparison. Those Black people hanging from trees in the southern states of America were not "Immigrants." They were as American as the white people who lynched them.

Don't compare some idiotic outbreaks of violence by idiots, to 400 years of oppression, that is still going on today.

Well it was all racism fuelled by bullshit so it's not that ridiculous.
