The pau, maatsen, Ramsey triangle was devastating today. Could be really exciting to see how that develops this season

Rogers and Buendia when he gets up to speed can also drift to that side.

Not many right hand sides going to relish playing that if they all stay fit and we still have Bailey the other side who can skin an LB no problem when he's on form.

Hopefully we land Geertruida because him behind Bailey will be nasty

Get us back to Moreno best days, especially when he’s playing with Ramsey. I like the fact that we’re using the squad as well (that’s the only way to keep players happy). For us to be able to have Ramsey and McGinn for example we’ll need to rotate. Same with Watkins and Duran….etc

Eventually we’ll see Barkley and Enzo featuring as well. It’s a tough beginning and some players came in those circumstances. But they’ve done well.

Unfortunately couldn’t watch the game, but his touch in the build up for the winner is absolutely superb.

Pleased to read comments that he played well outside of that as well. Potentially locks down that position for a decade - just think about it!

Really good yesterday, looks like we've signed a solid player who will be the attacking outlet from left back.

I think some of the comments towards Digne are a bit much, he was good yesterday and played 74' minutes. Maatsen came on fresh against some tired players and was able to get forward. It's going to be a season where certain players play in certain games. Digne is the defensive left back, and will at times help to close out games. Maatsen is the attacking left back and will play when he can get at full backs, or when we are chasing in games. It's a great combination.

Looked absolutely superb

Cannot wait till he is starting every game for us

Love how rapid and aggressive he is. I get Ashley Cole vibes

Also cannot wait. Watching Digne is agony.

Slower than my nan

For all his commandable attributes he is ruining a lot of our attacking play when we are breaking away

A £3m player who cost us 10x that. Being paid as much as our best players and refusing to leave.

Shouts another one though so it's OK.

The sooner Maatsen and Ramsey are starting on the left, the better. Every week that goes by and they don’t is just delaying the inevitable

That is quite controversial

You rate Ramsey above McGinn?

You are infuriating.

The Left back that played every game getting is 4th and a semi final? Yeah he's shit.

Please go elsewhere.
