Farage going to run and lose for an 8th time?

He's changing his identity to Nigella, he was spotted buying the clothes in Ashfield at the weekend

The answer to the question "where is the money going?" is broadly "to the places that the public tend to ask for it to go"

About £100bn of freshly printed GBP to pay people through furlough almost entirely ended up in the pockets of landlords and shareholders. So there's that

But more broadly, we have seen the biggest increase in wealth among the already-wealthy in recorded history, so asking where the money is going (and demanding a redistribution of wealth) is entirely valid

Well, yes. People spend their money on goods and services. On things like their rent (landlords) and mortgage payments(shareholders). So in a time when the Goverment is preventing them from earning, so paying them not to work, the money that the Government gives them is going to be spent on things like rent and mortgage payments.

This election has just been a huge PR exercise for him.  Can't believe we've got another 5 weeks of it 🙄

He's an insufferable toss pot. I genuinely can't understand how anyone can support him.

While the very wealthy (who don't pay rent to anyone) had no high-end services to spend their money on during covid, so whilst they've been able to massively increase their wealth further and hoover up land and assets, living standards plummet for ordinary people and the young. Maybe one day the average voter will wake up to this and demand radical change... but doesn't seem to be on anyone's agenda weirdly
